It's high time we expose the Standard Model for the fraud and caricature of reasonable theory that it is. The recent and overdue success of Gravity Probe B has shown the sound robustness of General Relativity over the SM. Don't fool yourself: they are completely at odds.

The SM unequivocally states: everything is random mediated by virtual (unreal) particles.

GR states: mass curves spacetime (a real precision effect).

The SM irrationally declares magnets work via virtual photons.

My GR-consistent theory explains magnets with real charged anti-photons.

.. Over the last several years, i've been working on an 'extension' (in actuality, a deeper understanding) of GR. i call it Temporal Relativity or TR. Along with this view of gravitation, there is a naturally associated view of elementary particles as spacelets (spacetime wavelets). Markus Lazar has independently investigated this. This is not mumbo jumbo; this is not 'rabbit out of a hat' (magic). Markus Lazar is now publishing under the Royal Society.

Now we have a realistic and rational theory that exposes the fraud/whore euphemistically called the Standard Model. TR (the simpler theory behind GR) states mass is curved spacetime. More deeply, masses are temporal distortions-twists. (For anyone truly curious about this view of elementary particles, study ergosphere - the astronomical analogy of spacelets.)

The historical problem/reason we've embraced the wrong paradigm for a hundred years is twofold: rejection of God and the ease of proclaiming "it's all random". It's-all-random is an extremely convenient cop-out for explaining double-slit phenomena and multi-state structures. The critical mistake of the conventional community was to embrace Feynman's virtual scheme then pushing that twisted view of reality to explain mass with Higgs. i appreciate and respect the rejection of religious influence on science and politics but this goes too far in rejecting God as Prime Cause .. Don't mislabel me as 'religious' because i'm vehemently anti-religious. It's starkly repulsive to me for religions to co-opt God for their ideosincratic motivations. From a minimalist perspective, God is simply the cause that initiated the big bang (as opposed to ludicrous inflation proposed by convention).
