Today, Larry Would Smile His Toothless Smile and Say, "I Love You, Mary Lane"
This writer has been too energized to sleep all night. Although the counter on none of the author's articles at NowPublic are rising -- in fact, they have mysteriously had the exact same number of hits for days -- something interesting is happening. When one does a search for the Atlanta office of The Cochran Firm in the web browser, one has to look hard for their phone number or a list of their services.
This is because, there are more links that regard the wrongful death of Larry Neal under that search than there are about The Cochran Firm.
(See http://wrongfuldeathoflarryneal.com)
Below is a link to the search results for "The Cochran Firm Atlanta" as of 10/09/08:

A short time after one of my brothers viewed the page, I overheard him tell our soon-to-be 86-year-old mother, "Mama, you have been vendicated, and many people have been helped." No one spoke another word, and no one smiled.
Thank you, NowPublic.com.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. ~ Matthew 25:37-40

Thank you, Stephanie. Do you realize we are pro se? I believe God wanted me free to write and advocate for acute mental patients, and with an attorney, we would likely have been very restricted as far as speaking about our case. Therefore, God sent us no attorney. What happened to Larry is echoed throughout the land to varying degrees. More than 30% of America's inmates are mentally ill. Some of them are not as fortunate as Larry was, to have a family who loves them. I believe we were left without legal representation in order that ours could be a voice for incarcerated mental patients, and through our organization, AIMI, dozens of others are joining us monthly.
Many acute mental patients are without adequate support by the government, their communities, and even their close family members. There remains a negative stigma attached to mental illness that is transferred onto a patient's close relatives. With some patients, there are valid safety concerns.
Things are improving in America for the mentally ill. This year, our government has become more responsive to the need to improve mental heath care for Americans. Our congresspersons and senators passed two major pieces of legislation to benefit our nation's mental patients within the past four months. Congress just passed another historic bill on October 4, and it is only one step from becoming law. The Bush Administration reported a significant decrease in the nation's homeless rate, due to a program to create permanent housing for the chronic homeless population. Community outcry has increased following deaths of mental patients being apprehended by police. National organizations, such as Treatment Advocacy Center (TAC), NAMI, and Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, and grassroots organizations, like SPAAMI, ISF Foundation, and others, advocate for mental patients diligently. My family and the members of Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill (AIMI), founded after Larry's tragic death, have joined in the efforts to better address the needs of the least of these, His brethren.
I appreciate your concern very much, Stephanie. I promise to take care of myself, but we work very hard to see that justice is done for Larry and that his death serves to help other families avoid similar preventable tragedies.

Sometimes those in control of holding down the numbers on my articles are too heavy-handed. This story was front page at Care2 for the last couple of days, where readers access the actual story by way of a link to this NowPublic article. Yet, this article shows only 43 hits! LOL! Ridiculous. Now do you understand censorship?

Have you seen the vast number of videos on YouTube that present our highest elected officials in a bad light? I have. But if you type in COCHRAN FIRM or COCHRAN FIRM FRAUD in the YouTube Browser today, guess what? My videos no longer come up! In fact, the only way to see them now is if you have the exact links! Now who is more powerful than all of these world leaders who probably would like negative YouTube videos deleted from the YouTube search because they expose something embarrassing or even criminal? Anyway, since you cannot see them w/o the links, they follow my signature below.
