UI to build brain & neural hospital in Depok

"RSUI will become a Brain and Neural Center," Gumilar said, adding that the money for building the project take the form of a Japanese assistance.

Gumilar said the construction of the hospital will take about two years, and in 2011 the UI medical faculty in Salemba, Jakarta, will be moved to the campus in Depok.

According to him, the RSUI with sofisticated medical equipment will provide a quick and accurate health services especially in handling brain and neural disorders.

"The UI campus in Salemba will be used only for post graduate programs," Gumilar said.
