Health Canada has issued an alert for undeclared clams in Knorr Soup du Jour Brand Cream of Potato and Leek Soup Mix.  The soup mix is sold in packages the contents of which are rehydrated to produce soup.  Clams have somehow made their way into the vegetarian soup mix.  People who are allergic to shellfish may suffer lifethreatening reactions to clams.  These soup mixes have been widely distributed across Canada.
