UNICEF trains to be breastfeeding counselors in Aceh

In 2003, around 27.5 percent of infants in Indonesia suffered from malnutrition. The figure was about 10 percent lower than in 1989 when almost half of Indonesian infants were diagnosed as experiencing stunted physical development.

The condition of a child`s nutrition was closely related with the its parents` or babysitter`s knowledge about nutrition.
