One of the biggest problems is that being obese or overweight which has also led to record numbers of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, arthritis, and cancer. The increasing trend toward obesity has also led to rising amounts of morbidity, premature mortality, poor quality of life, lost work time, and sky-high medical costs.
