Why Periodontists Only Should Perform Gum Grafts
Periodontists are the only dentists properly trained to perform gum graft procedures. Gum grafts are extremely technique sensitive, requiring someone with the proper education and experience, so they should only be done by periodontist and not by other dentists.

Gee I thought only trained Podiatrists were the ones to do this, when foot in mouth disease was rampant in La La land.

actually its a serious issue! i've had a friend who had the proceedure incorrectly preformed by a regular dentist, who was obviously poorly trained. i hope this post helps someone out because i wouldn't want anyone to experience the discomfort my friend felt!
