Winter wheat

The interesting thing about the grain cycle in an Asian country as modern as Japan is that they still work their fields the traditional way. This may soon change, though, as the younger generations no longer see value in carrying on their forefathers' farms. Times are changing and the bigger corporations may slowly buy up the small plots, and convert them into larger tracts of land that will support combines and agrobusiness. Sadly, another of the many traditions of the country may be slipping away before our very eyes.
