Zimbabwe: Cholera Cases reach 60,000 while its Money is Dropped
While Zimbabwean Politicians have decided to commit to a power sharing agreement, it appears that Zimbabwe is undergoing more acute developments in health and economy.
The latest figures of the World Health Organization reveals that 60,401 people have been infected with cholera with 3,161 deaths. This has been something that has been predicted but ignored by the world community.
Acting Finance Minister Patrick Chimanasa has allowed Zimbabwean Businesses to conduct their affairs in other currencies as the Zimbabwean Dollar continues to deteriorate. Recently, a One Trillion Dollar Note was issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and has become a centre for many jokes.
Attempts to contact people in Zimbabwe for these recent news developments have been unsuccessful but anyone who wants to contribute to this developing story is invited to do so.
I am also asking that people who read this take into account that the situation is beyond dire. It is screaming for a solution.
