NEW YORK CITY, July 10 Today's high was arond 93 degrees with a humidity of around 60 percent. The extreme heat also has some new yorkers wondering if the
brief blackout reported last month is a sign of things to come. The city however taking precautions opened 290 cooling centers to help people beat the heat and save energy. Personally if this reporter were mayor he would switch the city to electric cars and solar panels. But that thought it seems is gone with the heat.

XJustin IntensityX, oh man, sounds hot! I remember when I moved to NYC my first night was a scortcher - with no AC it's terrible. Those 'cooling centres' sound cool, do you have any pics of those?
