This here is the excellent Shaws Grocery brand, blizzard proof camera bag. Tape bag tightly around lens hood, seal back end with rubber bands, CAREFULLY cut along edge of lens with exacto and voila! Totally sealed except for lens filter. Survived Vermont's single largest 24 hr period of snowfall, 27" in Burlington and up to 50" elsewhere in the state. The only downfall is not being able to see through the viewfinder, but not bad for free.
