November 8, 2006 When Himatangi's fire siren sounds at 11am on Saturday, it will be calling firefighters not to a fire but to a party. The occasion is the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Himatangi Volunteer Fire Brigade that today doubles as the first- response ambulance unit for the area.
