Home cooking

Our individual dietary requirements aside, we've always had a preference for self-contained accommodations. Since Hawaii, we realized wherever we were, home was where the kitchen was. This one wasn't elaborate, but a stove with two elements, a fridge, and essential cookware were enough to produce 3 nights of fine home-cooking. Once we dumped our bags, first thing on our agenda was to stock up that fridge and the pantry. Our expectations of the 7-Eleven around the corner suggested to us by the concierge were low and we moved on to the more promising destination - a Coles or something, basically their local supermarket franchise. However as we were walking, I noticed a lady carrying two paper bags emanating the right kind of aura. Almost immediately after, I pointed at a place across the street emanating the same aura - an organic whole foods market. We'd struck gold.
