Home improvement firm Rona's Q1 profit jumps 27 per cent to $14.2M

MONTREAL (CP) - Rona Inc., a building-supplies retail chain, wants to vacuum up the last of the available Canadian independent retailers before turning its attention to the United States, chief executive Robert Dutton said Tuesday.
