Homeland Security issues rules for electronic Form I-9

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued an interim rule allowing employers, recruiters, and referrers who are required to complete and retain the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification form, to sign and retain the form electronically.
