It was a month ago, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Toronto’s beloved “Honest Ed” Mirvish passed away at age 93. Today, his family holds a free entertainment event to celebrate his life outside Honest Ed department store at Bloor and Bathurst. Well known singers, Michael Burgess, Molly Johnson, actress Shirley Douglas and over 100 performers all came to entertain the public.

 Torontonists from all walks of life with many of his friends and royal customers all came to paid tribute to the man so full of life, humanity and compassion.
