Today, July 31st 2007 Hong Kong Heritage site "Queen's Pier" about to be demolish by HK government. The governor sold the piece of land for commercial used and plan to build new highways.

A large numbers of defender launched a campaign to protect against the government. They have been go on a hunger strike and camping around the pier for more than 10 days until the last minute government representatives and police arrive to take them away.

International male artist Mr. Chow Yun Fat step up to the pier signd to save the Queen's Pier.

I couldn't agree more with your comment.
Infact, the HK government claimed this land belongs to them, but I believe it belongs to tourists across the globe!
