Horrabridge is a charming riverside village located on the doorstep of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park in the holiday county of Devon. The bridge itself is the oldest in West Devon.

The name Horrabridge means "bridge on the boundary" and it has been aptly named as the village spans the four parishes of Buckland Monachorum, Whitchurch, Sampford Spiney and Walkhampton.

Horrabridge has a new primary school with excellent facilities, a village hall which is for hire for parties and other activities, two churches, two bed and breakfast establishments, a pre-school group, two pubs and many useful shops. Horrabridge Football Club dates from the turn of the century. It is well supported and has exchange visits with Tilly-Sur-Seulles in France, with whom Horrabridge is twinned.
