The National Weather Center has issued an exessive heat advisory for Las Vegas, some parts of the California, Arizona and parts of Colorado. Extreme hot temperatures are expected in the area so residents and tourists are being warned to stay in air conditioned spaces and to take extra caution if they're not used to the weather. Temperatures are expected to get up to 52 Celsius (120 Farenheit) in the desert and Las Vegas will reach up to 44 Celsius (112 Farenheit) by Friday. That is very hot.
STRONG HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL
ALLOW FOR RECORD TO NEAR RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE AREA
THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK
