How do they make these?

We are odd, aren't we? Sometimes we would like nothing less than absolute perfection but other times we would go and buy mints that look like they don't have a cast to make them. The shape of these mints is very irregular and instead of being put off by it we actually like it. Why? Nostalgia what else. Shows how big a role emotions plays in deciding what we buy.
