For two reasons, Hugh Hewitt's interview with Doris Kearns Goodwin is amazing.

1. The interview goes a long way towards explaining why Hewitt a) is able to rationalize the destruction of Iraq in order to incite democracy around the Middle East and b) spins lies with such ease. In his own words: "It's the first time I've had the pleasure of interviewing Doris Kearns Goodwin, who was to me Professor Kearns for my first class in government many years ago with James Q. Wilson at Harvard."
