I talked to the APS cameramen and asked them why their footage didn’t represent the truth.
The cameramen expressed neither regret nor remorse over the manner in
which they pointed their cameras during the school board meeting.
The footage they shot is the record of how impartially it was shot.
Is it dishonest to create a deliberately misleading version of the
record of a school board meeting and then broadcast it to stakeholders?
A senior APS administrator says that creating deliberately misleading
impressions of the truth is not dishonest as long as it isn’t done on
an “official” record. He crossed his fingers behind his back, and then
broadcast the “unofficial” truth to the community.
The Leadership of the APS is responsible for this. It will certainly
happen again, because they cannot be held accountable for this.
