Ilulissat Huskies and Icebergs, Greenland

The Hotel Arctic huskies, Ilulissat. There is one kennel, painted in the style of the local housing. The head dog lives on the high ground, and has use of the kennel. In the distance are icebergs being spewed from the ice fjord (left back, behind hill), into the sea (right).

The dogs were right by our window, but were very quiet, except when they were being fed, when they did a good impersonation of a pack of howling wolves.
