In Connecticut's U.S. Senate race, a new Quinnipiac poll shows Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I) still holds a 50% to 38% likely voter lead over Ned Lamont (D), with 8% for Alan Schlesinger (R).

Said pollster Douglas Schwartz: "It appears that Ned Lamont peaked in August and that Alan Schlesinger was never able to convince his fellow Republicans that he deserved their support."
