IN[ ]EX, a giant audio sculpture in which thousands of wooden blocks with embedded technology
are released into the city to engage the public as active agents, had a
successful launch in Vancouver last night. The opening, at Centre A
(Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art), drew
upwards of 150 people and went on until the wee hours of the morning.
An estimated 600 blocks were launched into the world during the event,
not including a number in connection to the "1 City Block" event that
followed today at 2pm as an Official Opening Ceremony for IN[
]EX. Thanks everyone for coming out to the opening!
