Independance day for Sandfields renewal area

People living in the Sandfields East and Aberavon Renewal Area are being invited to a special event designed to help and encourage elderly and disabled residents to live independently in their own homes.

The event will be held at the Aberavon Community Centre,Sandfields Road , on Monday 16th October from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Organised by the Renewal Area Team, in partnership with Communities First, the event will give residents a chance to meet representatives from a variety of organisations including the Housing Grants Department, Age Concern, Care and Repair, Disablement Assessment Team, Shaw Trust, Community Safety, Welfare Benefits and Warm Wales.
