Indian Information technology Students Acusse NIIT playing Cheat With Their Future

We are some Software Professionals working in Sector V, Kolkata would like to put to all of you a very sorry picture of the problems that we the Bachelor/Master degrees students of NIIT Ltd, Kolkata are facing presently. NIIT Ltd., a premier educational institute is having collaboration with Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysore for Bachelor/Master degrees courses which we had enrolled for. Under this collaboration, NIIT is supposed to arrange for our final mark sheets.
We attended the two-year course and paid more than Rs. 25,000 for the course, exam fee, etc. Apart from this, NIIT took some extra fee as part of their center fee every semester. After completing the course in due time and appearing for the final exams in Jan’2006, we are still awaiting for the mark sheets. It has been more than a year we had appeared for the above mentioned exam, and still there is no trace of the mark sheets.

Jatinder, if you can post contact information for school and government officials, please do so and put them here as a comment. Clearly there will be an Inspector of Universities or some such functionary.

What approaches have been made to Karnataka State Open University? Your post does not fully explain the roles of each entity. If one is only responsible for marking, the the other may be responsible for the final notification.

I am a IT pro from Mysore.My Dot Net faculty from cdac and I wanted to do Dot Net Project From NIIT .we both went to the NIIT institute in Kuvempunagar Mysore,and met the counselor by name Mamta who took 4k from each of us for dot net project and refered an other guy by name Balraj who runs an other institute by name Global mind IT solutions.He does not have knowledge much about Dotnet or any Training skills .we both were really disappointed as he did not train us on dot net project and also gave a project which is not working at all.So please be aware of NIIT and these kind of Con professionals .I suggest you take up the course in some local institutions rather paying huge money to NIIT and end up with nothing.
