Indian Woman Stages Protest in Underwear

Fed up with what she said was physical and mental abuse by relatives, and the failure of police to address it, a 22-year-old woman in the conservative town of Rajkot walked through the city in her underwear for over an hour. Apparently it worked, because police promptly arrested her husband, parents-in-law and two neighbors -- following the woman's threat to walk through the city naked next time.
