Perhaps one of the coolest things about the online television revolution is the simple fact anyone can get in on it. From hacks to actual diamonds in the rough, the Net is a playground for amateur filmmakers looking to cut their teeth.

Enter indieTV.tv. The site is based out of Seattle, Washington, and is run completely by indie filmmakers for indie filmmakers. It showcases the "top indie filmmakers on the Internet, and brings them to you."

Unlike a YouTube where anything can go, IndieTV screens all works submitted to ensure quality standards. While the videos don’t have the backing of big networks and studios, what they do have is creativity and promise.

With original sitcoms, thrillers, dramas and more, IndieTV is a great stop for those who are tired of the programming offered by the big networks. It’s certainly worth a look. If you haven’t checked out some of the indies out there, you’re really missing out on something special.

Do they have a curent affairs offering? Maybe something that could be an alliance with NP?
