WASHINGTON: A team of six Indian-American researchers has developed a paper-thin energy-storage device.

The team, led by noted nanotechnologist Pulickel Ajayan of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), has developed a battery, which could easily be mistaken for a simple sheet of black paper.

Now that's awesome! The extended temperature range is extra-cool: my mobile's battery does not fare well in these Canadian winters, which are even worse than NYC's... I'll be interested to find out what these batteries' capacity is, though no doubt, as with the current technology, each iteration will improve.
