Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia and New Zealand have agreed to step
up cooperation in the management of such natural disasters as
earthquakes and floods, Indonesian Defense Minister Juwono Sudarsono
said here Tuesday.
A meeting he had held with New Zealand Trade and Defense Minister Phil
Goff in Jakarta on Tuesday mainly focused on management of emergency
relief in natural disasters like volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and
floods, Juwono said after the talks with his New Zealand counterpart.
