Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian government will seek an
explanation from the Saudi government for the deaths of two female
migrant workers allegedly beaten by their employers, an official said
Monday.
The two Indonesian workers died early this month while two others were
so severely abused they remain hospitalised, Teguh Wardoyo,
director-general of migrant protection at the foreign ministry, told
AFP.
"We asked our embassy in Jeddah to send a diplomatic note to the Saudi
government asking for an official explanation of this incident," he
said.
