Inside the Black Panther Party: An Interview with Bobby Seale

BOBBY SEALE is the co-founder and former chairman of the Black Panther Party. He is the author of Seize The Time, a compelling account of the Black Panther Party and its other co-founder Huey P. Newton. Seale is also the author of the autobiography called A Lonely Rage. His latest compelling writing is the foreword of a new photobook entitled The Black Panthers, featuring photographs by Stephen Shames, and published by Aperture. This interview was conducted on Thursday, January 4th, 2006 and lasted about one hour. Annotations to this interview are in square brackets.
