Spotted this stencil on the back of a truck down by the fish processing plant. This appears to be the truck owner's genius contribution to the debate involving Oregon state ammendment 36, which passed last year, altering the state's constitution to ban same-sex marriages. Nice, huh?

but is this a statement of what is wrong or that the driver believes the ban is right? seems to be possible that it goes either way.
in PA, in a conservative and xenophobic area which also houses a university with a strong point on the arts... i saw one that showed the part of two people holding hands without the gun toting murderer, and it had "CRIMINALS?" next to it.
found it at the university where i worked. i took a photo immediately... good thing, too... the university had it painted over by the end of the day (probably sooner, but that's when i saw next). it made me sick that the university painted it over. but it's not surprising. the excuse of being neutral and not a proper place to voice opinion as graffiti doesn't fly with me.
if you read up on me, you'll find i'm biased against the university, so i wont point you to it; if you are interested, you can find it without me shoving it down your throat.
isn't hate speech illegal?
