Iowa National Guard members could be sent to monitor border

"Iowa Govenor Tom Vilsack says that 40 to 50 Iowa National Guard members could be sent to California as early as next week. They could be helping monitor activity along the Mexican border. Vilsack says the contingent, which will be made up of volunteers, could be deployed as early as August 1st."
