As XML, CSS and RSS, JAVA and JavaScript become the dominant authoring and scripting languages on the Internet, is HTML already dead?
It's more and more rare that HTML skills are required of web developers, but they sure need to know XML and CSS. Even BBCode is taking over on the blogs. So what will happen to HTML?

You might need to add some more content to it.

CSS can't, by itself, be used to design a web page. It only defines the styles for the content that's coded in another form. Typically, the form required for new development is XHTML, which is the latest form of HTML. The other languages you mentioned are used in the development of web applications, but by themselves cannot make actual web pages.
