I, like many Floridians, am upset with our government's response in the disaster-stricken Gulf Coast. Despite millions of tax dollars that have been spent on 9-11 training and hundreds of millions that we spend each year on our military and military equipment, our fellow U.S. citizens are starving and dehydrated.
