I don't see the actual security advantage here. RFID chips would make passport info far easier to hack, but any document could be faked. The only way the customs agent or security guard would know I'm on a fake passport is if the image/info does not match my appearance or if that agent/guard were to know me personally. Passoprts do not measure intent, which is what airport security should really be about.
