Israel Decides to Target Gaza Rocket Launching Squads

Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) - Israel decided on Wednesday to resume targeted strikes on Palestinian squads launching rockets at southern Israeli communities from the Gaza Strip but will maintain the Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire.

The decision followed a rocket strike on the southern Israeli city of Sderot on Tuesday in which two young Israeli teenagers were wounded, one critically.

Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for launching seven rockets on Tuesday, including one that landed near a "strategic installation" near the coastal city of Ashkelon. Israel's main power plant is there.
