Israel warplanes destroy Lebanon bridges

Israeli warplanes destroyed four key bridges on Lebanon's last untouched highway Friday, severing the country's final major connection to Syria and deepening its isolation.

Aircraft hunting weapons caches also hit dozens of farm workers loading vegetables near the Lebanon-Syria border, killing 28 as Hezbollah launched a fresh barrage of rockets at northern Israel.
