As Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip continue, three innocent children were killed in yesterday’s air strike and at least 15 civilians were wounded, the majority of whom were children.

An Israeli Army missile launch targeting a vehicle carrying four al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade militants again killed the civilians.

The militants managed to escape the vehicle before the missile struck.

However, two siblings aged four and five were killed and five other members of the same family were wounded.

Another 16-year-old civilian died, succumbing to his injuries, at the hospital

The Israeli Army claimed its target was Imad Abu Khamed, one of the leaders of al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade.

The number of dead and injured were higher than expected as the attack took place in a crowded place during rush hour.

The attack, described as massacre, created a wave of indignation throughout Gaza as Palestinian radio played war songs and locals recited Quranic passages for the victims’ souls.

IChannel 2 of the Israeli TV called the attack “another assassination attempt where innocent civilians were the target.”

In explanation the Israeli Army said an air strike was conducted in response to Kassam missile attacks by al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade.

However, the army expressed regrets for civilian casualties occurred.
