It’s All About Sight & Smell At Globalshop 2007 :: Symblogogy
Just walk the floor of the Globalshop 2007 and have your senses be assaulted.

Long held as one of the most visually appealing tradeshows in the western hemisphere, Globalshop brings together every enterprise that involves itself with the design, display and promotion of spaces that sell merchandise and establish the brand reinforcement.

There were many companies that had the usual shelving and flooring treatments, but what would catch one’s attention quickly were the sense based adornments and attention getters. The most effective were those that plied one with interactive visual images or the waft of chocolate in the nose to turn ones head.

As one of the NowPublic editors, I’ve flagged your item as Not Authentic. This article keeps getting updated, but nothing in the posting is actually changing. If you'd like a posting to keep floating to the top, there must be some sort of development within the story itself. Please feel free to write your own comment in response, but first check out NowPublic news values and our Code of Conduct. These will make your stuff better.

Hey, J:

I really do not understand why the editors at NP have to use the shoutout approach with the expression of their micro management of the portal.  The email would be a little less parental and - To Be Frank - professional.

With the guidance of NP editors, I have changed my account from ecj-MAXINE to Edmund Jenks (thanks, ANG) and was originally rewarded with postings appearing in the margin on a regular basis.

That hasn't happened in months.

In fact, the vast majority of consistent promotion of stories seems to be for the benefit of NP employees and editors.

The only way a non-employee or non-editor has at keeping a story broadcasted visually is through the update process.

Many re-post, as a matter of habit, days ... and even weeks later without any appearent rules to their method except to gain additional "views."

I limit my activity in this area to about 24 to 36 hours after the original posting.

By the way, the truly original posting located at the "SOURCE" link is duly noted as to the fact that this posting was popular enough to make it to the first page of popular postings at NowPublic for the time period (iuse 24 hours) it is allowed to be shown on the WORLD page of popular stories (not just the TECHNOLOGY page but the WORLD page).

You will find the link "NP Page-One View Rated Button" at the end of the posting at Symblogogy.

J, thank you for your concern but it would have been nice to see a more professional approach.

Regards, Edmund Jenks - formally ecj-MAXINE
