Iwao Takamoto, the animator who created the beloved Scooby-Doo and directed the cartoon classic Charlotte's Web, has died. He was 81. Takamoto died Monday of heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Warner Bros. spokesman Gary Miereanu said.
