Jack was raised in San Antonio, and spent his early days as a monorail driver, newspaper reporter and Texas's youngest licensed private investigator.

Jack has a Bachelors Degree from Texas State University. He studied journalism and education. Jack has numerous awards, including Investigative Reporter of the Year, Rocky Mountain Press Association. Jack established Sigma Delta Chi, the journalism fraternity at the University.

Elvis Presley, Clint Eastwood and Lady Bird Johnson were a few of the people Jack has interviewed.

Jack was Director of Facilities Management for H.E.B. Food-Drugs for over 20 years. He co-founded Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM) and was elected President where he lead initiatives to establish PRSM magazine.

Jack consults, and trains retailers in Florida, California, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Mexico and his beloved Texas.

With the lure of writing, and a passion for life, Jack still plies his humble writings above the ornate and historical Majestic Theater, near the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk.
