Apologies on the use of the Stargate character name, but I cannot use my real name due to anonymity concerns. I figured it might as well be an interesting name, however!

About me: I work in Ottawa, and have been involved in the Political scene for awhile now. While I do have my inherent political biases, as does everyone, I feel that the spreading of news is more important than any one particular party or politician.

I joined nowpublic.com because I want to help report the news. I am not a journalist, nor do I aspire to be. But, as I have recently realized (through a great presentation by one of the founders of this site), reporting and journalism are not the same.
