ennasnosrap, thanks for this original posting. I had an antler lamp when I was a kid, and we used antlers as doorknobs, gate clasps, decorations...finding one was a bit of treasure. Great stuff.

No wonder everyone's been having so much fun adding elk and antler items to this post: did you catch The New York Times "Thursday Styles" section today declaring antlers "The new design element of the season"? Guess that makes the Jackson Hole ElkFest a veritable design mecca!
