Jones plugs ‘In the Electric Mist’

JANUARY 29, 2007 - 12:47 PM

Tommy Lee Jones is set to topline the feature film version of James Lee Burke’s novel “In the Electric Mist with Confederate Dead,” adapted by Mary Olson-Kromolowski and Jerzy Kromolowski. Jones will portray Cajun detective Dave Robicheaux, previously played by Alec Baldwin in “Heaven’s Prisoners.” Directing is French filmmaker Bertrand Tavernier, who’s scheduled to begin production in April, with locations around Louisiana.

Fans of best-selling author James Lee Burke witll be thrilled to learn another film based on one of his books will start filming this April in Louisiana and New Orleans.

I look forward to the quirky and talented Tommy Lee Jones in the role of Dave Robicheaux.
