"A spectacular water sculpture by Danish artist Jeppe Hein is making a splash on the South Bank this summer, inviting visitors of all ages to join in and become part of this playful work of art. Appearing Rooms (2004) is installed on the terrace outside the Royal Festival Hall and will be open daily from 10am – 11pm. This is the inaugural project in the South Bank Centre’s new summer series of artist-designed fountains, initiated by new Hayward Gallery Director Ralph Rugoff, which will become exciting temporary landmarks alongside the river each year as part of a South Bank Centre initiative."
