Britney Spears Bought her Dad a Restaurant on Venice Beach

Much has been in the news lately over one addict after another. Seemingly it glorifies what most people disdain in the common. Hollywood's young celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Jessica Simpson seem to be typical of parents that pimp their kids for their own financial sake. Dina Lohan is the party girl, Spear's parents received houses and businesses, and the Simpson girls got Daddy Joe.

Lindsay Lohan: This one is obvious since her mother Dina wants to share the spotlight. She tells people she is her sister. She even blames her Ex for having a partygirl reputation. I guess it has nothing to do with the bar hopping she does with her daughter that is trying to stay sober. . According to Lohan, "We are not a bunch of screwups," she says. The fact that she sometimes sips Montrachet in front of her daughter? "It's not a weird, freaky thing. No, we're normal. It's normalcy." I'm thinking Lindsay got the short end when she got her over indulgent, selfish parents. When does mommy have time to raise the other children when she is out bar hopping and getting on TV to "explain" why she is a good mommy.

Britney Spears: Well, What can anyone say about her, except that she was a typical Southern wife that "stayed home" so her man could make the bread. That failed miserably, but inquiring minds want to know where were her parents when she was running out of control? It seems Lynn Spears was trying to be her daughter. She co-authored a book, dressed like her, and even got in trouble with photographers after some bad diva behavior. Britney seemed to be buying her parents houses and restaurants since they blame her for their divorce.

Jessica Simpson, the most famous Ex- Newlywed that dumped her husband because of a movie she saw on a plane, has issues with maturity. For someone that is 26 one would really not know it. Jessica and Ashley seem to be all talent with no brains. Neither seems capable of maintaining a long term relationship. Could it be because Daddy is the head man in their life? Joe Simpson, as the Times puts it, "gave his daughter a 'purity ring' and pledged to be the central man in her life until she married," says that he wanted them to know that "Daddy never touched their stuff. I wanted them to always look at me with respect."  Can you say "creepy?" What minister even thinks like that about his own kids, but since he left the ministry to make his daughter famous, I guess he can think anyway he wants.

It would seem that the big this is that these parents have sacrificed their kids for a dime. They have sold their children so they can live comfortably. Emotionally healthy people don't become addicts, drop their marriage because of movies, or shave their heads for no reason. Who cares how old they are now, but will the real parents step up to help without your hand out?  These parents have made a fortune off their kids, since they also double as managers. Why then do they still have their hands out and having their daughters buy them things they can clearly afford. Their children do not owe them, since they have been getting paid. I think that is the real thing involved, the parents think their kids owe them their success. Will they take the blame for the drunks, addicts, and immature kids they raised. I doubt it! Even a pimp knows when to let go.
