NP Rank:
John Edwards and the $400 haircut
A little digging in to John Edwards' campaign spending has revealed that he has twice dropped $400 in a Beverly Hills salon...in three weeks. The blogosphere is, of course, all over this news; similar to Giuliani and the cost of bread and milk, spending $400 on a men's haircut seems to many to be an indicator of how far away Edwards is from real American experience. What do you think?
Well, John Edwards' campaign for president spent $400 on February 20, and another $400 on March 7, at a top Beverly Hills men's stylist, Torrenueva Hair Designs. The expensive haircut is, of course, a perennial. Bill Clinton got zinged for getting a cut from Cristophe, and Hillary was found at one point to have buried a stylist on her campaign payroll.
Obama, on the other hand, gets his cut cheap and frequent -- but he does take the process seriously enough to hold his calls.

Well, he's secured the barber/hairdresser vote.
John, if you're out there, I will cut your hair for a mere $250.

Who, exactly, is supposed give a flying you-know-what? The "blogosphere is all over this news", you say, but the only people who care are right-wing nutjobs with too much time on their hands. Bzzt.
